Article First Newsletter!

We are pleased to announce the publication of the first DIGIBIOVET newsletter, marking the beginning of our journey to strengthen vocational education and training (VET) for biodiversity conservation through digital innovation and quality assurance.

DIGIBIOVET – Digital Ecosystems in Biodiversity: Enhancing Vocational Education and VET Quality Assurance is a 36-month Erasmus+ Capacity Building in VET project that brings together ten partner organisations from Europe and Africa. The project aims to equip learners, trainers and institutions with the knowledge, skills and digital tools needed to support biodiversity conservation while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities.

In this first edition, readers will discover:

  • An introduction to the DIGIBIOVET project, its objectives and expected impact;
  • An overview of the international partnership spanning nine countries;
  • The first results of the project’s research activities (Deliverables D2.1 and D2.2), which mapped existing TVET quality assurance systems and identified common challenges and opportunities across partner countries;
  • A preview of the next phase of the project, including the development of innovative curricula, digital teaching resources, an inclusive Learning Management System (LMS), and micro-credentials.

The newsletter reflects the project’s commitment to improving vocational education by promoting high-quality, inclusive and digitally enabled learning pathways that contribute to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.

We invite educators, VET providers, policymakers, environmental organisations, stakeholders and anyone interested in green skills and vocational education to read the newsletter and follow the progress of DIGIBIOVET over the coming months.

Stay connected through our website and social media channels for the latest project news, activities and upcoming results.
